UK Offers £7,500 grant for Eco-Friendly Heating Upgrade
To support the transition to low-carbon heating, the UK government offers the Boiler Upgrade Scheme. This programme provides grants of up to £7,500 towards the cost and installation of an air source heat pump when replacing an existing gas boiler. The scheme is available for homes and small non-domestic buildings in England and Wales, subject to certain eligibility criteria.
To qualify, your property must have a valid energy performance certificate and not be receiving other public funds for the installation. This generous grant can significantly reduce the upfront costs of switching to an eco-friendly heating system.
